AT VILLA & VINE IN SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA

jill & connor are the type of people the world needs more of. truly, to know them, is to love them & they genuinely make the world a better place. after eight years together, jill & connor celebrated their love & got married in the heart of santa barbara, california, among all their family & friends from all over the country! their wedding celebration consisted of slow, private, intimate moments, with loud, joyous & energetic moments, & everything in between!

during the planning process, jill & connor knew from the very beginning they wanted to exchange vows privately in a setting that was secluded & intimate, where they could share this long awaited moment, as well as take portraits at. in collaborative efforts to find a location that would perfectly serve jill & connor, taylor suggested 'casa del herrero', a personal favorite location of hers, to which the couple fell head over heels for. there, they did a first look, exchanged personal vows, & spent the rest of their time taking portraits in all the beautiful corners around the estate before heading off to their ceremony.

the pair held a traditional ceremony at 'our lady of sorrow's catholic church' surrounded by their loved ones & the holy spirit. following their ceremony came an action packed reception with clean, feminine, minimal inspired design & florals that were complimentary to the natural beauty that is 'villa & vine'. their evening was full of cocktails, good conversation, delicious bites with music from both a dj, as well as a saxophonist to heighten the energy!

for photography, jill & connor wanted a unique blend of classic meets contemporary imagery, that was simultaneously editorial, while also being documentary - truly an all-encompassing style that would be complimentary to how their day would naturally unfold. together, the couple worked with taylor to collaborate on a hybrid-documentary approach for photographing their wedding day on both digital & film formats. while browsing their gallery, you'll notice a consistency & cohesiveness that is complimentary to the couple, the venue & their style to truly preserve all that jill & connor's wedding weekend was!
